FESSH Congress in Basel

From 3–6 June 2026, the Swiss Society of Hand Surgery will welcome colleagues from across Europe to Basel for the FESSH Congress. Held in partnership with the European Federation of Societies for Hand Therapy (EFSHT) and the Swiss Society for Hand Therapy, the meeting will offer an exceptional opportunity for scientific exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and professional networking through a dynamic programme of lectures, workshops, and interactive sessions.

This year’s theme, Restoration of the Balance to Improve Hand Function, highlights the delicate interaction of structures and systems required for optimal hand function. The congress will explore how skeletal stability, ligament balance, muscular coordination, innervation, and vascular control work together to restore and maintain function, while showcasing the latest advances and perspectives in hand surgery and hand therapy.
