The Federation has full members, corresponding members and
honorary members

Full members are national societies, legal by their national law and/or recognised by their national professional bodies, consisting of therapists who have a recognized state-registered qualification to practice as a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist.

The Society must be open to both Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.

A country is represented by only one national society.

Corresponding
Members

Physiotherapists or Occupational Therapists from countries who are not yet able to form a national society, legal by their national law and/or recognised by their national professional bodies.

There can be only one corresponding member per country.
They have no vote in Council.

Honorary Members

A re individual persons who have been of exceptional merit to the Federation.

To apply to become a member please contact the Secretary who will explain the procedure. Election will take place at the next Council meeting provided all requirements are met.
